Sure, as soon as you let me borrow your Twin Disk... You still tinkering around on that stock block, I'll go ahead and use your built motor in the mean time. Just hit me up when you are ready to use it instead...
In case you didn't know, me and you are secretly in a race to 11sec stock motor status. So, you better iron those cobwebs out of your nerves, cause as soon as I get my Ptuning kit...It's ON like Donkey Kong!
O SNAP! You better bring it!
We better get a post going to keep all the posting out of everyone elses posts!
The "ElevationTC VS RhythmnSmoke Stock Motor 11 Sec Thread"
Pics of cars and setups can be posted! It could be fun!

Of course the diff had something in between. You don't think I was talking about banging on the bar in the middle do you....
lol. i figured you meant a flathead through the sides of the spidergear or whatever is in the middle...but i didn't want to damage it so i just used a prybar.
Well, I guess if you are a little more nervous with that method that's fine. But yeah a couple of different ways to do it for sure.
lol
so, LSD huh. whats so hard about getting it in?

Don't know, perhaps it's just a more snug fit around the axle shaft. It was a pita to get back in though.

nah. if you take the hotrod classes then you will learn abotu that stuff
chances are you heard from people who chose diesel and not automotive and then complained about not getting hotrod...
theres alot of people like that. i learned alot.
in UTI, they have two 4 classes that teach you purely about how to diagnose sensors and test the electronics of each sensor as well as how each sensor works
i have a 100 page book due to that school on how to figure out comp ratio, flow potential, fuel potential and all that crap. it's really good information and people underestimate it but whatever.
UPDATE: took my cv shafts to get rebuilt, brought home and put them in, car ran fine. then last night driving on the freeway car stopped speeding up and the rpms just climbed and went to ~700-800. then sometimes it would catch and i could move and then it would stop and i'd stop moving. eventually i just stopped moving and had to pull over to hte side of hte road.
a quick look under teh car when the nose was in the air showed the driverside inboard cv joint was twisted like no other.
me thinks that the rebuild shop somehow put it back together without marking everything thus, creating slop and play and BAM.
there goes my fun.

well i went to pull my drivers side out last night and it wouldn't come out. So i pulled a little harder and the seal broke on the ring of the inside cv joint. boot didn't tear at all, can i repack it and use a hose clamp or no? i only lost a little of the grease in there.
