Thats what I was also going to say. You should also think about running a catch can with a turbo set-up as well.

I have the tubonetics kit with upgraded 57 trim garret turbo .63 ar. and E-mange Ultimate. I currently have about 5,000 miles on the kit (12,000 on the car) and started running it at 6psi, now i am at 11psi and it runs flawless/little rich but no biggie and pulls good. No issues at all except a simple exhaust leak. Here in florida the weather can get hot and very humid for example the other day it was about 96 degrees the car does not run that well. I have found out my car runs well in weather below 80 degrees. But im sure you guys know that hot weather can downgrade performance somtimes. I am on stock clutch it has been holding up fine on 11 psi, soon looking to upgrade. I am happy with the kit hoping to do a built motor sometime next year and shooting for 500 - 600 hp between there, we will see how that goes. Boost ftw !

I do have one already, i spoke with greddy and they told the same thing. That it could be the seals that are bad. I will send it to them, they will inspect it and rebuilt it.

I've been boost since October 2009. Running a custom kit with a Turbonetics T3/T4, Turbonetics Wastegate, and a HKS BOV. Running a AEM Management. I'm at 7 pounds of boost @ about 239.

My style of driving is pretty tame, but I do have a lead foot from time to time. She runs smooth and I have yet to have any problems with her at all. She spools quick and smooth without any lag at all.

Even though she is my DD, I plan on getting a small truck just so I can keep her in the garage as a weekend/fun car.

Been boosted for 30k miles. 2300 miles of it is on a newly built motor from Dezod. Original motor was just fine - I just wanted more boost.

My Tnetics kit was at 9psi (275whp) for about 10k miles - then I upgraded to the FIC and daily ran 12psi (never dyno'd). Now I have a built motor and ported head and larger 840cc injectors and I'm at 16psi daily until I install my Hydra.

I'm running a custom turbo kit put together by jjos1.I bought it used off of him. Going to get tuned friday. I cant wait. I got a kid at work with a VW mk4 gti saying how scion's suck and ill never even make 230whp LOL. He is also telling me he can smoke me but never wants to run, lol he always has an excuse. But, anyways, just got a custom turbo back 3" exhaust and open dump conversion made for my car by the guys at Boost Works. I love the way how the tc pulls. I've been boosted for almost 4ks now since September. I'm hopefully building my internals this summer.

What do you do if you're a californian and you have a turbo when smog time comes around?

This is my biggest concern when it comes to deciding to turbo my tC..

No biggie just run two different tunes a green tune which keeps all the parameters as if they were stock and the other tune is for the street.

Only thing is you need to find a tuner who can do it correctly. With the green tune when the 5 gas anaylzer is installed your O2,CO2,AFR and others should read as if its stock or close enough to stock. I would laod one up but I'm currently setting up my FIC. Good luck
