Is the spark plug bent or is the tip of the plug loose and are these oem spark plugs? I would have each cyclinder borescoped, to see if there is any damaged to the piston.

ughhhh i have Autolites in there right now gapped at .042---the tip WAS bent not loose - the gap was sumwehre around .030

that doesnt sound bad at all, you sure someone didnt gap them to .030 and you just fouled them out?
