Here's a video of the tial bov on the Dezod tC:

And now here's a video clip of the played out HKS SSQV:

http://media.putfile.com/04-Mazdaspe...-with-HKS-SSQV

Also here's an interesting video clip of Joe's Dezod S1 tC with a view of the instrument cluster. 2nd gear?? What 2nd gear!?:

The HKS SSQV on that Mazdaspeed sounds slightly different than what it does on the tC. Here is what the HKS sounds like on the tC:

the miata may have had a different insert in the bov. Sounded higher pitched, maybe an HKS gold insert?

I much prefer recirc, less noise, more fun driving instead of just getting attention that sometimes is from the wrong source;)

Rick

I live in TN. We don't have the "wrong source" attention problems...

No yet, The gestapo(spelling?) tactics spread like a desease and will eventually catch up to you there as well.

Even if they are not out hunting down imports specifically a loud BOV can be heard from quite some distance and draw attention that can get you into alot of trouble.

Sorry man, Not here. This town is full of BOV's, American V8's that run 5's in the 1/8th, 548whp Civic Coupe, 320whp Spec V, 300whp Scion tC (us) and just an all around Car/Motorcycle town. We gather EVERY Friday/Saturday night at the spot, and just have a block party, and NOT ONE Singal Cop EVER rolls by. Not even to check on us (and people be doing burnouts and launching out of the lot when they leave) At one point, when we use to gather at the other spot, a cop came by because some people where acting out of place, and he told us as a group (like 50-100 people) that, as long as we don't do crap on this Main street, and act a fool, that it's all good. I Quote "We don't care if you race, as long as you take it out far up 840 somewhere".
