For an additional cost we can upgrade the kit with a PTE Vband55/62(pictured)For an additional cost +S&H we can upgrade the kit with a Turbonetics55mm Turbocharger with a ball bearing cartridge

For an additional cost +S&H we can upgrade the kit with a PTE Vband55/62

For an additional cost +S&H we can upgrade the kit with a Turbonetic's Vband
GT-K 450 or 550 (pictured)

That boost pressure curve looks like boost creep to me.

 

doesnt hit peak boost until 5800 RPM? are you kidding us?

hope you had major leaks otherwise those turbo's do not sound appealing to me.

 

i would like to make power before 5200 rpm

 

Redline should be set at 7800-8000rpm

 

GTk450 is comperable to say a 3071 so that turbo should be spooling at 2800RPM that car must have massive boost leaks.

 

Almost looks like a trd supercharger (on steroids) curve

 

yea thats not a big turbo at all theres problem(s) with the setup

 

It was more then likely tuned by Sean at church so I doubt its tune related.

Brian is using a GTK550 turbo on his setup. It's slightly larger than a GT35R, so this turbo is not over sized or anything.

It's a customer car with a 6psi waste gate spring that is definitely has boost creep. The turbo was fully spooled at 3800 rpm and then the waste gate opened.

 

whats the 55/62 bb upgrade compared too?? more information on that turbo would be great

 

Also the intake pipe was 3" inch and the turbo inlet is 4". So we are going to change the intake pipe to 4".Then fix the boost creep. Then we will take it back to the dyno!
