i agree that is probably not the issue. you might want to have your customer do a boost leak test.

The intake size should help with spool up. NOT the Boost creep. Thanks Paul

So we are going to change the intake pipe to 4" Fix the boost creep.
does this customer run a boost controller at all?

to boost consistency across the band will sure help a lot.. look at the boost increase is linear so you would expect a more linear power curve. its like you are running 6 psi from the start so you couldnt expect a lot of power from that.. then peak boost hits towards the end of the power band. sounds like a boost control issue to me more than anything
