i saw that for a blow through set up wouldnt that mean the almost 90 goes to the TB and the flanges posistion the bov and maf on the bottom of the pipe?

That's right by the TB for both.

Look at this photo...See the pipe with the BOV there.....



MAF is now behind the BOV.

oh well that wasn't incredibly obvious. in my mind i pictured the bov and maf sitting lower than the above mention picture.

OK. Our local customer whom had over 40K miles on his S1 with a stock block came for upgrades to the Alpha Series and wanted to spend minimal funds on the job.

We recycled as much as we could. We used his 850cc injectors, his APR X1, his custom Griffin rad, S1 IC pipes and clamps.

We pulled off his 2.5" exhaust, his S1 manifold, 2.5" downpipe/s-pipe, oil feed and drain lines.

We added the Alpha Kit and a custom 3" exhaust.

We modified the upper IC pipe to make it blow through so that the APR X1 can work properly. We also modified the lower hot side IC pipe coming off the turbo too. Here are some pics....

Yeah this a 2008 with over 50K miles on it. This car gets driven.
