P.S. while i was on 3 day mission i guess i missed all the action here.
Its just funny how people get mad or upset over little things. I think everyone needs to get deployed to a war zone to understand THERE ARE MUCH MUCH bigger things to get upset about then this kind of topics...

P.S.S. Paul since i purchased my turbocharger from you guys, maybe you have the reciept with exact model of it right ?
If yes can you check for me if its possible to change the housing to be a V-band on my turbocharger ?

One thing I will say/ask is on your wastegate flange on the manifold, it comes out on a 90* or perpendicular to the manifold. I haven't built any manifolds, but I have read a lot about building them. From what I have gathered, if the consumer were to run low boost with a larger turbo on here, they could potentially have a boost spike issue because the flange for the wastegate isn't in line (at about a 45* angle) with the gas flow. If the air see's the least amount of resistance through the turbo, it will take that route rather than going out the wastegate. I know wastegate size also affects this, but that is not what I am getting at. I was just curious as to why you didn't do this. PTuning had a boost spike issue with there first design manifolds on low boost setups on the 07+ motor, which is why they went with a 45mm wastegate instead of their previous 38mm wastegate and went to a "teardrop" design as well. With efficient manifolds and low boost, it seems like it can be a problem. Thoughts? I respect both companies and manifold builders, as you both have more experience than I do. I am just an enthusiast for now and was curious haha.
Boost control should be fine from 10 PSI and on. The system also uses a TIAL 44mm WG.

nah..we will just let my order ride as is...the mani i got has a 38mm flang and i dont feel like cuting it to weld on a 44mm v-band...however kyle would like to add something to the order while we are at it. I think he wants your return setup..whats the price again

I have gotten questions about PTE variant turbo arrangements, and this is the response about the turbochargers that can be used.
As long as it is one of the new turbine wheels such as a 57, 62, or a 65 turbine wheel. They do not have any of the V band turbine housings for the T31, T350 or the P trim wheel.
