Dezod Sleeved Short Block + Dezod Head

Nice Rob!
Thanks for all of the kind words man. Means a lot.
I just wanted to note that the short block is fully assembled and blue printed here at Dezod to our specs. Rob, like every short block customer, receives our race engine spec form with all of the clearances and torque specs of it.
Let's see some more boost!

I can't wait to see what else is coming down the pipeline from Dezod.

ya i ran into this problem when the shop did valves on my car.. they had to send it back to the machine shop to shave the head down or something and then it took them forever to find the right buckets although i still dont think there perfect because my head is loud lol.. but this was like 2 years ago..

yes everything i do i do it myself. the last head was ported by me and my friend Benny who owned a machine shop in orlando. he use to do alot of high hp cars in puerto rico and some things for 2 big soflo companies (one who is very famous for having high hp cars)
the current head has a custom p&p by me with my specs with 1mm oversized ferrea valves and valve train.

180whp with basic bolt-ons? I've seen it done before. MikeScion dynoed just a little shy of 180whp with I/H/E and crank pulley and not using a dynapack dyno. Don't see that being far fetched if it's on a dynapack. Ambient temps, altitude...etc could make up a few ponies.

carne asada with beans and rice sounds sooooooooooo goooood right now. with fresh tortillas, damn whats up with the food convo ? im so hungry now.
pete one more ? on ur head.
When you ported it i assume u did both intake and exhaust, but did u do the compression chamber too ? if so how smooth did you go on the intake side comparend to the exhaust side ? flow tested ? u send it off to get the 1mm over bore for the valves ? ive done some honda ones but am still trying to learn more.

nice ya the reason you leave the intake side abit rougher is so that it helps the fuel flow evenly through out the head and not get stuck on the smooth walls, correct ? thats what I was tought and never really asked many questions about it, as far as the chamber is concerned that one can be smoothas butter right ? I am planning on building my head for my spare motor since that is all I have to do, more details on that at a later time. I heard ptuning is coming out with cams thats kinda why I wanna wait to see what they offer, if nothing soon than I think I am going to use the BC N/A cams. were did ya get ur drills and grinding bits ?

thanks rob for posting up!!! that sounds like u copied it and pasted the same thing u told me that day u drove it..
"oh it has slugs" where your exact words also haha
im on tein basics with custom spring rates... i was already familiar with ss-p's and other coilover systems for the tc that had additional options such as dampening control so i opted to save some money and go a much more simpler route with the same effect which is why i went basics. I just asked tein to make me custom spring rates to my liking (track ready type rates then the normal street daily driver rates it currently offers)... which in the end gave me a pretty balanced very manageable smooth daily driver. i also have a TRD rear sway bar, dc sports front strut bar, greddy rear strut bar and ES mounts on the motor and chasis. with the money i saved i was able to buy other suspension upgrades so it really worked out perfectly not opting for the more sophisticated bling setup...also basics go lower then ss-p's so it was perfect at the time incase i ever wanted to slam the car.
i plan on upgrading the rear sway bar next to the Dan Gardner (sp) one (he recomended i use it once when we chit chatted a few times on the phone) with possible upgraded endlinks.
thats pretty much the gist of the suspension and extras that help.
