Dezod Stage 2 vids...
Real quick... it's one longer vid...
First 3 runs were at the base 8psi. Car was pretty hot when we got there, it was 85 out and we went straight from driving to on the strip.
New tune...
I went more conservative with the tune because of the very high temps outside and the larger flowing turbo. I pulled igition timing back 4 degrees instead of our base 2 degrees for the stage 1. I also ran a flat 11.0 AFR instead of the 11.5-12. Did that because it's not worth ruining the car. On the last run I upped it to 10.5 psi and pulled a 13.4@107. I raced more than whats on the video because my buddies had to leave but I was practicing my launch. I finally got a 2.1 out of it and ran a 13.41@109. This is still having the system in the back, with only 10.5psi. I'd say our new turbo was a success. When our new EMS is done I can push the car harder but until then the conservative route is best for my car and our customers who drive this on a daily basis.
On a stock bodied car with close to stock weight, I'd say you can easily pull off consistant 13.5s or faster at the base 8psi. Sky's the limit from there

Awesome job Joe.
Awesome job Joe.
The car kept getting faster all nigth and the last one would have been a 13.1-13.2 if I didn't grind the damn gear. My car's really picky about 2nd gear for some reason. I can hit 3rd faster than 2nd. I launched the car hard on my last race and shot past the tree... I grinded 2nd for almost a full second and still managed a 2.2 60' lol. If I nailed 2nd it would have been about a 2.0. Even with grinding horribly and falling out of boost, I got it back in gear and still pulled a 14.2@107 haha. The top end was insane on the last pull and with that kind of launch I see some potential for some good times.
Once the Modified Magazine article is done, I'm taking the audio out of the car and sticking with a more basic sound system. Paul and I have some BIIG plans for this motor very shortly and I just don't think there's room or time for any heave ICE anymore lol.
Thanks for the kudos man, I can't wait until I get it tuned with the new EMS because I'm missing out on a lot of potential at the moment.

Nice! I love seeing the videos. I did think the stage 2 was gonna do a little better but I know with the tune and extra lbs it's a little slower. I'll be watching and waiting to see what this thing can do when you get the tune down just right and the audio out. Any word on getting and LSD for it?

Yeah, I was there @Import Warz and watched Joe in action. Got to see the turbo upclose. Ridiculous, lol. But as the day went on, Joe got faster and faster. It was pretty cool. I don't think he lost a race that day. My girlfriend and I thought he would crack 12 but I forgot he had the system in the back. Oh well.
Great job, Joe! ...and Paul, lol.

Yeah after the shoot, Joe is ditching the sound system and that will free up 400lbs. LOL
Thanks for the support.

Paul, do you have a store and if so where? I can't seem to find an address on your site.
