Paul, I don't see the turbo upgrade on your website. Could you send me a link to the upgrade and the DIY? I'm still interested!

This turbocharger comes equipped with an oil and water cooled CHRA. The system will include all necessary water lines and proper hook-up with DIY instructions to make it easy as pie for install.

The addition of a triple ball bearing CHRAs increases the amount of heat and cooling capacity needed, which is why these are water cooled as well as oil cooled. These turbos will require the same warm up and cool downs as any other turbo.

The power band will be quite linear much like a supercharger, which might not be the best for an auto-x'r.

Respectively, a smaller stage wheel is smaller in diameter, a larger is larger in diameter. A larger wheel has the capability of moving more air and supporting more power for a given amount of boost.

This is an Innovative Turbo by another name. Comp Turbo spawned off of Innovative Turbo Systems when the company was split off into OEM and Performance Aftermarket. ITS was a founder of some decent technology and made great products.

I have used alot of different turbos!! I can honestly say I think Comp is one of the best well manufactured turbos there is, I have had failures with alot of different turbos, I have ran on my own personal vehicles 9 different comp turbos, and 3 of which were TBB, The TBB is much better, and out of the 9 comp turbos, guess how many failures???? a big 0, anything can happen of course, but this is my experience.

This btw is an awesome deal including the water line kit and all that.. TRUST ME

So in 2 years you've gone through 9 comp turbos? Why so many? That certainly isn't enough time to validate that their turbos are reliable.

Btw I'm not knocking the turbo.. just pointing out that they've only formed in 2007 with people from ITS.

I've had 4 supras ,turbo civic, 2 turbo tc. One of which is my gf.

I've been with comp before they even got rolling hard

I've ran a 68 on my supra went to a 71, have a 88mm on my drag car , civic had a 57, other supra has a 67 , tc had a 61mm then went to a 67. To name a few. All of which had been ran alot of highway miles over the period. I've had customers and myself in a bit over 2 years have failures from the box with other turbos . Out of 9 turbos I think that's amazing. The 67 tbb Is a bit louder than the 2 other triple ball bearings I have now but is perfectly ok and I plan to put alot of miles on it. Do far 850 miles in 4 days. LOL.

Well if it was the default turbocharger that came with the kit, you have a decision to make. Depending on your power goals, these 57 TBB turbos will be an excellent upgrade from your default that we used. It will have more power per PSI of boost. It is entirely up to you, and we can support you either way.

Are you also offering the CT3 61 and 67 as an upgrade?

One quick question, my snail has a 90 degree elbow built on to the compressor side. Are these direct replacements coming with that welded on?Kinda hard to see from here but it points straight toward the drivers fender at the outlet for the compressor.

No, but it's nothing that a 90 degree silicone elbow could not fix.

Will that be included? I'm pretty sure I'm going to go this route once this one goes bad.

It's not included in the pricing, however we can add it in for a small fee.
