Dezod vs. Turbonetics

i'm with you; like i said in my original post; its all about personal preference; every company has their pros and cons, and there is plenty of reading on here and on each companies' sites to help someone make their decision as well as vid after vid on youtube.

It's okay for turbo newbs to want to ask questions about the pro's and con's of each kit. Every kit has different components. There isn't much copy-catting going on with the main-stream kits. Whether it boils down to maximum HP or easiest install or simply brand preference, it's up to us to inform, not persuade. Once we inform them of the hard facts, it's up to the buyer to decide after doing their research. After all, it is their money and car. /rant hehe

DezodDon my comments were more focused on the notion that it was like a CAI setup on a N/A car when dealing with water.
In terms of Ptuning's setup, the filter is positioned pretty high up. You would have to drive through standing water as tall as the bottom of your headlights if memory serves me correctly. Kit or no kit, you driving through that much water, you need a truck and not a car....lol

ok make sure we are keeping it on topic and we keep the ____ing matches out of here. Hard facts, opinions are ok but dont be bashing anybody. Its was getting testy but it looks like its calmed down. Please keep it that way. I know we all get heated sometimes.
But a big congrats to you Travis on a baby boy!

Thanks man, much appreciated. He's a trooper.
This makes #2 for me. His brother is 2 1/2, so I have some prior experience in this delicate balance.... There's plenty of time when your kid wants to help you with your mods...heheee.

Oh WOW! That's scary and awesome! Congrats to you to man. Kids can be frustrating and fun at the same time. My 2 1/2 year old acts like he's 22 some times...lol. He's got that "I can do it by myself" attitude.
