DG Spec equipped with Dezod S1 3HR success (vids & pics)

Certain things need to go to PM's however. I agree a discussion about different motorsports is informative and important, but some of the drama we could do without. And this isnt a discussion thread for someone else to come on and brag about what type of racing _they_ do, its about the OP's post, Dezods support for DG and what happened with the race from their perspective. I think Paul handled it professionally. Rules dont have to be "broken" to understand there is a right place/time for something, and this was not it.

^^You are aware that the discussion finished up like 4-5 post before you decided to rehash it. And it was started based on a comment.
So, you giving your .2cent is no longer valid at this point. Continue on.

Wish this was more about the facts with Dezod and less of them having to defend their posts. Some people on here have to comment on every post and take it make it was it was not about. Anyway we can get those posts deleted in here and stick to the real topic at hand?? Someone always seems to try to derail everything.
Paul - Did Dans lap times improve in the evening as the temperature dropped, or could it be argued that DG's vision was hindered due to the lights not working properly so this one would not be a good race to judge that idea by? I realize the parts were all operating at max temp by the 2nd lap I am sure, but does the onboard system spit out a comparo between start and finish information?

There was a driver change during the race. So laps at the start may not be apples to apples comparison to laps later on due to driver driving styles alone.
The datalog system if I can I recall will only store about 1.5 hours of data at a time if turned up in full logging capacity. So again, kind of skewed data.
Night driving potentially induces it's own issues without anything else going on or wrong.

Gentleman, can we please keep this on topic. Thank you.

Paul and I were pretty much the only two talking, so where you speaking of Paul then?
I didn't realize anyone other than you and I were discussing things. Process of eliminations, one could only assume he was trying to address me.
And yeah we went back to topic like 4-5 post ago, so not sure why come back in and rehashing it. So, let's get back to DG shall we.

Paul - so theoretically "IF" everything was identical, and the field of vision was lit up well, could the night times be quicker due to the ambient air difference?
Also, aside from less vision, what other problems come up (in night racing)?

Other drivers lights going on while near then making it hard for them to keep stable, which could cause issues to you if you are near him.
Not to mention, pitting and such could be much harder at night due to the techs lack of vision to see things like leaks or damage as easily that may have needed to be addressed.
"If" all things equal, the car could run faster with a lower IAT than higher, sure.

Ok...I am going to try this again...it looks like in the pictures you guys dont run a rear wing, that is pretty damn amazing, and should be even more credit to the crew and driver if so.
