Default Dual Charging the Scion tC

b/c turbos are easier ways to go for big HP numbers....i plan on eventually going both s/c and t/c in a few years

thanks to the pic from Zer0 at the bottom of this page it looks possible...probably yield around 600+whp, have to run custom intakes around 3-4inchs, i/c, and a 3-4 inch exhaust.....difficult, but none the less do able

anyone intersted in like double teaming this within a year or so??

^If you're talking about dual charging good luck, you're going to need it with the room the tc's engine bay has with the s/c in there.

Because it's only four cylinders. You need two exhaust manifolds to twin turbo.

even though its a 4 banger, if you had the room, you could definitely twin turbo it. You would hafta build a ridiculous tubular manifold with dual exhaust flanges and two wastegates...semi twin scroll setup. Ive seen it done by a blue civic last year at modified madness in PA.

^Yeah, theoretically it's possible but I doubt you'll ever see it on a tc, but I could always be wrong

Hey btw Vito, did you get your goodies on yet?

well, I just walked out of my house about 10 mins ago to go smoke a butt on the front porch and I had a lovely little box from Dezod motorsports sitting there with my Water/Meth kit. Its probly gonna be a lil while before I can get it on and tuned out cause I have a few other things with the car that I need to take care of first like an exhaust leak, I need to weld in some sensor bungs, run my gauges/pods etc. I cant believe how small the control unit is. I took pictures of it before and when I go into work I will upload them onto my computer and post them up

Yeah, I wanna see it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick one up in about a month and add it on to my i/c setup

yea, I wanna see what kind of numbers your gonna turn out and then compare it to my setup with just the water injection...its a great kit for the money, but theres nothing like non stop water to air cooling

Yeah, I love this intercooler. I wasn't satisfied with just water though, I added water wetter to it this week

I ordered that NST crank pulley right after I talked to you so I'm waiting on it. I just can't stop myself with the mods

I hear ya bro...I took a ton of pictures of stuff just sitting in my house waiting to be installed. My poor unichip has been sitting in its box for the past month or so cause I pulled everything out of the car to redo the whole car over. I got my carbon trix gauge pillars waiting to go in, boost gauge and wideband, unichip, water meth kit etc etc. My wheels/tires are getting delivered to the dealership today so while Im working I cant miss the shipment to my house hahahaha. Today is starting off to be a really good day
Many Many pics to come today fellas

Haha I know that kid, that thing takes years to spool those turbos... Only one around, but at least he is original.

i pla on doing some serious modification before i go dual charging....like rebuilding the engine entirely, so it can handle the numbers i'm expecting....and that would probably require a custom s-pipe and turbo manifold, that would push the turbo lower then the s/c

but this is like 6 yrs down the road, and i would expect to break 600+hp easily.....that will be fun
