please read most of what was wrote before you post.....this is possible, as it has been done on otherengines(no tC yet)
i was not planning this for about 4yrs at least...plenty of time for a lot of learnign about the tC by everyone including myself....
yes i know this would be one hell of a money pit.....a deep one, but i hopefully wont ahve to worry about money then
this would be done just to be unique....same as an 800hp civic, or like a twin turbocharge cavvy...at least rare if not unique....
this was for opinions and ideas of where to get started, as with the eaton roots s/c instead of the centrifigual
thank you

Too bad a lot of this stuff is being done by these types of idiots rather than someone that knows thier $#it. But again, it is not a real practical project. But still interesting and hella fun if you have the cash.

ATI has built a twin charged mini cooper before, so they might know what they are doing.:

Aslo agreed it is not a pratical project, but I can't wait to see one. I don't think we will ever see something like a twin charge kit for the TRD SC.

I like the idea of twin charging, but doing it with centrifugal supercharger defeats the whole purpose. You are supposed to do it with a positive displacement supercharger like a Roots or twin screw that produce boost at low RPM. The supercharger gets you going off the line and then spools the turbo which gives you lots of upper end power. It shouldn't be hard to get a turbo that spools before the Vortech starts producing boost, so it seems pointless from that aspect. I guess you could do it with a super stupidly huge turbo that would have trouble spooling at all otherwise, but short of that I don't see what it gains you (other than a horribly crowded engine compartment and a flat wallet).
