you will be good as long as your O2 sensor is before the section where you removed the pipe

let me see if I got this right, There is an 02 sensor on the downpipe and there is a 02 sensor on teh s-pipe. So do i not need the 02 sensor on teh spipe ??

yeah you can take that off but you would get a cell though.. its just to check if the cat con is working which you dont have

i already have a check engine light on. So if i take the spipe off and the sensor it wont throw my ECU into limp mode will it ?

will there be better gains that way in hp I mean. I ran it with the spipe before but not from the downpipe. Last question , how far from the oil pan should the downpipe actually be ?

I dont know what the performance gains are on these cars. But I did do some dyno tuning on a fox body mustang with a 347 stroker that had electric cut outs, and had 15-20hp increase with the dumps open.

running an open 2.5" or 3" spipe isnt much different then running open downpipe.. id rather run open spipe because the downpipe will cook the oil pan.

That sounds about right lol , i just checked the location. Ill stick to open s-pipe thanks guys.
