Impressive. I would probably boost only 9psi at most daily until I get a good tune. I'm guessing ZPI provides all the calibrations for you guys and you just load it on?

right now im set up to boost 10 psi, basically in my wastegate i have a spring that opens fully and will allow the system to max out at 10.5 psi. im only seeing 9.5 psi when i wot it since im running stock s pipe. as far as daily driving, i dont see a problem even pushing the boost up to 14 psi. keep in mind that in normal DD you are not boost full boost, or any boost for that matter. in the drive to work, i dont need to even get to the boost to accelerate much faster then stock. i have a vac/boost gauge, and i rarely find myself in the boost. like i said, as a DD , 10 psi is fine, you will have your power readily available, and it wont cost you your internals. i havnt had too much problem with my system, but keep in mind, i dont know crap about turbos.

as far as difference between 7psi and 9 psi, you will notice a difference , but not a whole lot. it will defintely pull a little harder. for those of you going to the maryland scion meet, i will be attending sunday so i will see some of you there. my rims wont be on the car so it will look stock.

Yah, under DD, i'm pretty sure I won't be boosting either.. at most 1-2psi when I'm cruising.. like to keep my RPMs low with insano gas prices.. Too bad my car need premium outta the box.. and with my mods and Hondata, I definitelty need premium.

Nice! Typically however, does ZPI provide a tune?

^^Yes But as with every other kit out for the tC, it's good to have the tune checked out, and possibly retuned.

Oh alrite. With the kits for the TypeS, either Hondata provides a base map, which we need to adjust/retune, or we send the ECU to be flashed for CARB reasons and the cal is locked.

a good rule of thumb is , 10-12 whp per lb . so from 7-9 could be a gain of 24whp . and I know u will feel that .

So just wondering, when might you be hitting the track for some 1/4 times?

I am really interested in going the same path as you did, but I am interested in what trap speeds the tc and times its capable of on street tires.

Anyone else notice how much the engine was moving in the last video. If I eventually go with a Stage 1 like I am planning, I think I am definately going to invest in an engine dampener.

I love reading these posts and every time I do, it makes me want to buy a turbo that much more.
