Default e351 tranny

im lookin into possibly using an e351 trans in my build. anyone have any issues with fabbing this up? my main concern is if id have to get different axles or hubs or anything of that nature. any input from the guys that have done this swap would be greatly appreciated.

Yep bolts right up. Trust me Ive put like 3 of them in lol - just make sure you get the right thing. Supposedly the xb2 and a couple other cars had an E351 case, but still had the higher 4.xx diff the tc has. The only car I know for sure that has the 3.9x diff and E351 case is the 02-04 Camry 5 speed.

I got videos of my car doing the 140 in 4th in my YouTube I have only hit it in 5th one time an that was racing some cls550 I was in 5th gear at a Litle over 7k so I estimate 170+ from what I have seen ever 1000 rpm in 5th gear is about 25 mph so 7x25=175 idk if that is 100% but that's what I have figured But in the end I'm sure I hit 160+ no prob

WOAH!!!!! WAIT A MINUTE.....can u guys please explain this e351 tranny thing???....I just bought a stock 05 tC tranny with only 18,000 miles on it for $425. My third gear is fukd up. So I'm going to swap out my trd LSD in the new tranny....but I just bumped into this. And how is 7400 rpm available with stock ecu??

well im on a built motor and semi built head i got brian crower springs and retainers port and polish and 3 angle vavle job so i can safely rev that high. but to answer your question i am using a greddy emanage ultimate to go past the stock revlimter its a piggy back for the stock ecu.

So does having this tranny help on the track(1/4 mile) for better times? Does my trd LSD fit? I'm might have to return my tranny for a e351
