WTF would cause the primary O2 to continuously go bad?

I have gone through 3 of them already and i'm mystified as to what the problem is.

My factory went bad.

I got a replacement that was supposed to be PNP from Denso but it was not, I have to cut off the connector and splice into it only for it too not to work correctly, it gives me the correct ohm reading when measuring between connector 1 & 2 but does not have a reading at all reading between connector 1 & 4 which is supposed to read 10kohm or higher.

I bought an O2 from the dealer some 2 and a half weeks ago and now it has ceased working as well so now i'm not only beyond ____ed but beyond mystified.

The dealer O2 is out of spec on reading connectors 1 & 2 and also does not have a reading at all between connector 3 & 4.

Which would be the reason why my tunes were acting really funky.

Since I bought my O2 at the dealership I called this morning and it has a 1 yr warranty so they've agreed to swap it out for me since it isn't reading within spec.

Kev, I owe you an O2 if the one you get is not PNP.

nice but i wonder how the tune is going to do this time....crap mang you gata stop changing 02 sensors...i can only tune you soooo many times...lmao

i wonder if running rich has been killing it...doesnt seem likely considering the time frame...

how do you check to see if the stock 02 sensor is bad? or how you check any 02 sensor that has gone bad? (besides a cel)

Fortunately, my o2 was plug and play. Read my thread here in a few about my epic ordeal.

Hey curtis, how did you bench test the o2 sensor to see if its within spec?
