how do you check to see if the stock 02 sensor is bad? or how you check any 02 sensor that has gone bad? (besides a cel)

I picked up the new one this morning and connection 1 & 2 is within spec but I still don't get a reading between 1 & 4, it was metered before I even put it in.

Rob and it looks like it came from the tC Toyota service/repair manual.
Chris, what should STFT be @ idle? Mine are between 10 and 20, LTFT has been a steady 2 @ idle.

you want the short term as close to 0 as possible, long term is much harder to get to 0 but it has to be under 30 to avoid any cel's for running rich or lean ect.

Update 7/23/09
So after a $650 tune, which was poop, and a few months of e-tuning, which is great but m STFT and LTFT's are ff and that results in temperamental starting so i'm headed to Ptuning in August to get a pro tune. Sure it is 12 hours away but oh well, I know it will be worth it.
In the meantime I currently have a credit card dispute going with the shop I paid the $650 and i'm looking for a short block for an 07+. I need it disassembled with only bare block, crank, main caps, main bolts. I'm looking to have it built by Ptuning after my tune just to have something on the side ready to go.
I'll be headed to Ptuning sometime during the 2nd week in August and shortly thereafter I plan on shipping them the short block for their Spec-SS build and just have it there until I return for them to install it.
I haven't scheduled my appointment with them but I will as soon as I figure out which days the woman has off.
I plan on taking a few things with me as backups.....MAF sensor, O2 sensor (2 of them), exhaust manifold gasket.
During my couple of weeks inbetween there I want to get the Mishimoto Slim Rad Shroud and a couple of things from Chris.

I was e-mailing Mike about my upcoming project with PTuning, and he mentions that the 05-06 block is interchangeable with the 07+ head. Hopefully, that makes your search for one that much easier.

Headed to PTUNING
^ You know what that means....headed to PTUNING for a real tune this week.
They will be doing some other things for me too like installing my boost controller, installing my Mishimoto Rad Shroud, installing my drive belt for my lightweight pulleys....that's all I can think of for now.
10 hour drive from Auburn to Manassas pick the GF up in Charlotte and be at PTUNING by Wednesday afternoon.
