Dezod can get you the crush gasket that goes between dp and turbo. Is yours a precision? I hate precision my bro got a turbo from them through dezod and we had to send it in 3 times for leaky seals, on the first startup! Now he is running a comp turbo and no problems at all. Good luck, we make sure the bolts on the turbo are tight every oil change, only takes a minute to check them. Make sure your using the lock washers.

LMAO...I bought my kit used. The guy who had it before me ran it open dump so there was nothing but carbon build up all over everything. The only thing in the setup that isn't new now is the turbo and manifold. I had the exhaust housing on the turbo and manifold painted with high-temp black paint, needless to say it didn't last very long. But everything aside from the turbo and manifold are new, i've had it since May, the guy before me had it for over a year open dump on an auto.

Thanks! I emailed Don and Paul on Saturday, haven't heard back from them yet. I called them today but only got the voicemail so i'll try getting in contact with them again. The locking washers were there but like you mentioned, I should check them at every oil change interval which I will do from now on. I found the turbo hardware on their website which includes the bolts for the mainfold and downpipe so i'll be getting that but wanted to make 1 order for everything that I may need so I need to speak with Don soon so I can have this stuff by Friday.

Do me a favor and send me pics of your oil drain line installed please. I would like to see how that looks.

Yeah sorry about not getting the phone I ran out to get some lunch quick and Paul is at SEMA.

^^ I agree with Don.. we need to see that drain. Try to take the pic level with the ground so we can see the angle of the drain fitting.

Is there a better angle on that fitting on the oil pan? We want to see how it level with the ground.

See the oil on the exhaust housing there, that's what I was focusing on picturing. I took these this morning after the car has been running for about 18 minutes.

I'm using the TRD oil pan sold with the Supercharger, I didn't tap it myself.

Wow didn't you buy that turbo from us not too long ago. I have to check the records but hot damn. I personally don't like the TRD pan because the fitting is small. It is my personal belief and experience that a minimum of a -10an line should be run on any turbo. That's my thought. Alot of stock turbo cars don't run them. Better safe than sorry. The line looks ok. The turbo has seen better days for sure.

My car is and has always been in Atlanta, Charlotte or Auburn.

It has never been driven in the snow, at least not real snow.

The kit was purchased USED, from a guy that ran OPEN DUMP for a a little longer than a year. There was carbon and reminisce of very hot exhaust burn off all over everything.

What you see how is not corrosion but high temp paint that is peeling and revealing the underlying high temp primer. The turbo itself was cleaned once by me when I first got it but I never cleaned the back side, you can see the carbon buildup from the pice above.

I've never ran open dump nor is my 'engine bay' corroded.

Everything on the kit has been replaced except the manifold, wastegate and turbo.

Come this weekend that list will be reduced to just the wastegate.

Just ordered up my gaskets from Dezod, just bought a new turbo manifold as well. It should be nice weather in Atlanta on Saturday for the install. Assuming the bolts actually break free and when I undo the oil drain line, not too much spills everywhere, with a bit of luck the install should go smoothly and i'll have a Dezod kit that is appeasing to the eyes.

Thanks Rob!

I just got to Atlanta and everything arrived so i'm prepped and ready for tomorrow.

I was trying to figure out how I could pull of the oil return line without losing too much oil but instead of doing a half-___ job I just will do an oil change tomorrow as well.

I even got some new spark plugs, they haven't been changed since before I was tuned, they were $16/plug MrC talked me into it.

So new mani, new turbo, new gaskets, new plugs, new oil....damn practically another install minus IC piping, IC and fuel injectors.
