WOW how many people i have seen come and go around here.. I dont really understand why people give up on the boost so easy. Im also amazed how many people knock the greddy kit, But i am curently at 60,000 miles of boosted abuse. My only failure has been my clutch slave cylinder.. I have found my turbo tc to be more reliable then most of my friends factory turboed cars ( evo, sti, SRT4). I guess alot of peoples issues are related to sloppy installs and poor tunes.. sorry to c another go..

Most of us boosted people with issues are issues caused by pushing it further and further. Or like me they get ____ty luck and other people cause their problems.

My problems came pushig my car more an more. I don't settle for the boost levels for. Period of time. I raise and raise and raise lol. Just blew my second motor on 20psi. Now have to save to get it back stronger and raising the boost again.

This is exactly why I continue to rule out tossing a built motor at the tC because i'll keep want to up the boost and compromising the integrity of the car.

The more I think about it the more I like the WRX and G37 so one of those I will likely get. The WRX leaves room for upgrades for me and if I get the G37 it'll probably just stay stock since it's sweet as is.

Just get a sleeved block some nice carillo rods and cp pistons and your good to go. And keep raising the bar on a boosted Tc. That's what I wanna do.

I totally understand the boost addiction.. I also had to rember the limits of my daily driver, now i plan on putting a world racing kit on the car and building the extra motor i have in the garage (carillo rods/ mahle pistons)
The reason i have kept with this platform, even though its fwd it is very Easy to work on with the configuration of motor and tranny.. Also there are so many 2az's that they are not expensive motors..

I was looking at that. Cobb AccessPORT & TBE is what i'm looking at.

And seeing as how I can't paint or apply layovers to save my life I will either have my tails done professionally.

Rid myself of the hideous radio, upgrade my speakers and be a ricer and just throw HID's in the headlights.

I'm getting my tails done next weekend I think. I have the overlays, but I haven't had time to get them done. I'm not trying to do it myself lol.

I tried overlays twice on my tC, both times ended in utter and complete failure.

G37 is nice. You'll love the interior and overall build quality. The WRX is great if you want to start modding like crazy again - those motors drink oil like no tomorrow and IMO the interior isn't that great.

I can't do a 370Z...I gotta at least halfway keep a backseat.

I most certainly will not buy the new tC at all, it's the furthest thing from my mind.

I drove the G37 coupe, I enjoyed it very much but it's a little costly. The 2008 I was looking at is $30,000..if the used low mileage G37's come down in pricing it'll be my choice.

The WRX, while I haven't driven one, I know it's solid and the only power mods I would do are exhaust and Cobb stage 2. Everything else would be interior and exterior styling.

Default New Car

Well i've come to my conclusion and I was stuck between WRX, G37 and Genesis Coupe. I then settled on the G37 for awhile but now i've decided to get a new Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring w/ Nav.

With my tC paid off, it's now time to haggle over the trade in value of it, i'm hoping for ~$7K - $8K and that will drop my payments on the Gen Coupe to about 2/3 that of the tC.

I haven't decided on the exterior color but the interior color will be tan/brown leather....pure sex.
