ordered mine on a monday was told i'd have them the next friday.... they definately showed up that wednesday. you can drop the extra 80 if you want on the 700cc's (thats what i got) but plan on doing a 100 dollar fuel pump as well.
for tuning i honestly suggest the Fic its by far a better unit.

Emanage Ultimate > F/IC. If you can afford a little more, go with an Ultimate.
i like being able to have my car tuned for partial throttle.

Umm....U CAN part throttle with Ultimate. Not to mention it has 2step launch, ability to increase your rev limit, and speed cut.
Sorry Part throttle or no part throttle Ultimate > F/IC.

you sure....i went back and looked and the ultimate has 02 feedback along with a few other things that makes me think it could....i have heard the greddy blue doesnt do partial throttle...then again i havnt played with either one of them...all fic baby...lmao

Primarily it has to do with it's price. The blue box was the first to work, and everyone jumped that and didn't pay attention to it. Hell, until I got mine I had NO idea the damn thing had 2step launch control. It wasn't until PTuning used it on their Time Attack car, did I realize it was the solution for me. It is the closest to a Standalone that you can get.
Like I said though, part throttle becomes negligible when you see all the capabilities it gives you. And there are ways around tuning part throttle without even having a computer that can override it (i.e. disconnect primary 02).
Not to mention, I was really turned off that you have to FURTHER modify the F/IC just to make it work on the tC. Not something I cared to do, and expected it to be a no hassle free product.

When I was on the blue box and actually had a tune on it, I did not have this "hunting" problem that you f/ic guys speak of. The thingI was talking about was having to mod it with resistors.
For a minute there, there were trouble threads popping up nearly every week.

My ranking as far as Best to least best (because there is no "worse", just less features).
Hydra > AEM EMS > E-Ultimate > AEM F/IC > E-Blue.
Even though I listed the F/IC before the Blue, I ran the Blue just fine for nearly 3 years and never had a problem from start to finish, unlike some F/IC people have. It's less of a hassle to setup than an F/IC is. If the ranking was listed based on "hassle" of use, then the order would change.

as far as the two resisters mod was an unfortunate oversite on aem's behalf imho, but now that people know about it, its alot simpler. Even now i think boomslang or aem themselves have addressed this issue...im not reall sure though...but i had heard that boomslang (or equivalent harness maker) now has the resisters already integrated into the harnesses now...of course i cant confirm that as of yet.
