I have the lil blue greddy emanage and the zpi pnp harness when i plug it up and start the car it idles fine and everything but when i try to drive or rev it, the turbo wont spool up. Is this because there is no mapping yet and no base map and i have to wait to get it tuned? or is it because of something else?

whaa?? that doesnt sound right. The only way your turbo wouldnt spool up is if its manifold wasnt connected. Be more specific

when i plug in the pnp harness with the piggey back the turbo refuse to spool up. if i plug it back into th factory it spools and works just fine. Im assuming its because there is no base map on the piggey back yet.

Well, the emanage blue box should allow the ECU to run stock with all the Greddy defaults set.

I believe there is 1 switch that needs to be changed from the factory setting inside the emanage. Check them all, but I believe it's JP2 that will change. If you look in the Greddy manual, you will find these setting and what they are.

Jumper Settings:
JP1 – 1-2
JP2 – 2-3
JP3 – 1-2
JP4 – 1-Open
JP5 – 1-Open
JP6 – 1-Open
JP7 – 1-2

They pretty much all come untuned, out of the factory box.

check your wiring is it that the turbo will not spool or the engine will not rev high enough to make the turbo spool. what harnesses are you using on the emnanage? ignition? injection? do you have the emange software? if so clcik the green box at the top and make sure that you are getting a TPS, RPM, MAF readings. If one of these are not working it may be a wiring issue. Give me a call or IM on monday if you can not figure it out.

the engine will rev up to about 3k or so. im using the pnp harness i got from you, and no emange software there is a possiblity it may be a wiring issue. I will find out monday im sch to have it dynotuned at a local reputable shop called carboy. I assumed it was because there was no base mapping for it, but from what sciondad is saying i dunno. Im hoping they will let me know on monday if it is the wiring or because its just flat out untuned, the light on there does flicker though it doesnt stay steady im not sure if its supposed to. kenny i will get with you when i get back from the shop to let you know.
