I don't even have my rear in...aen got his rear put in when they did his clutch...he said he barely notices any difference then without it.

This would make me lean towards the TurboToyotas Billit front motor mount which looks SICK!

the ES mounts are the same exact thing as the speed source mounts only that speed source charges you EXTRA because they are giving you a fabricated metal mount to replace the front engine mount completely.. the ES eliminates the extra fee and hand made mount cost... so u can still use your same mounts.. but your replacing the inside with solid bushings.. instead of the stock bushings.. got it ACE?

i definetely noticed a difference when i had my rear speed source mount put in.... there aer ALOT more vibrations and everything feels a lot stiffer when shifting

no i actually put the front in myself... then about like 3 months later when i got my clutch done i had my mechanic put the rear one on. the fron still felt good cuz i did eliminate a good amount of wheel hop, but have nto launched it w/ the rear one on yet... but i know it will make a huge tremendous cuz i can already tell by driving and flooring through each gear

Old thread...I know...But whatever.

I hadn't been pushing my car for awhile so I sold/traded my speed source mounts for stock ones. What's funny is the stock bracket has that part sticking up from the top. I had the SS in when I installed the turbo kit, and when I switched back I noticed that the kit does not clear the top part! I had to use my friends huge power saw to cut through top part off...not sure how that effects performance of the stock mount.

I got rid of it because of the excessive vibration at idle. But now I'm noticing alot of engine rock, so I'm thinking of getting new mounts again. Probably the pTuning full replacement. No pressing and comes in 3 different stiffneses, so I can get a mild one.
