engine life on a stock motor with turbo

^^ how come you didnt include dezod? one of the best turbokit on the market for the tc?
and yeah I got tuned by kenny, I say if he is local and buys the kit from him, installed and tuned he is an good option, he prolly might give you a deal.. turbochargers stocks tons of parts and the turbokit too, so you dont have to wait for shipping or back order.. but as everyone said you have other options

actually really depends on use and tune.. even if you are tuned to like 15 psi but barely drives 15 psi then it can last long too.. i say turboed have a very wide mileage range.. around from 1/4 mile to 200,000

Turboed my 05 tc at 32k and now just rolled over 79k miles, i drive the car almost every day. i beat on the car fairly offten and even use it for second job at night doing delivery.
I would like to do a compression test soon but the car is showing no signs of wear other then so matinace. I change my oil with mobil 1 every 5-6k. and my spark plugs about every 6 months with NGK BKR8EIX which are two steps colder.
i just recently retuned with bigger 550cc injectors and made 265whp and 293ft tq. on a dyno jet. cars running alot richer then before but its still ok probley foulded the plugs before the tune.

Around 11 - 12k on my Dezod S1 been turbo'd for about 14 months.
Not trying to fool myself... I beat the hell out of it.
48k on an '05
Been boosting @ 8.5psi for the first 13 months. Now I daily drive between @ ~10.5psi and still beat on it. 3 AutoX's this year & 1 day of road coursing.
When it comes to warm up & cool down I am extremely conservative. I use the heck out of my turbo timer... it was worth every cent. I wish they made some better ones out there though. The greddy turbo timer sucks.

any turbo timer should do, as long as you have the engine on for a set time.. its actually same principle but a fancier one is nice though.. on a watercooled turbo you dont have to run it too long, i only set mine to one minute enough time for coolant to circulate few times

most dont, and it should be safe on low boost and good tune.. if you can that would be awesome, but engine build is no joke even on basic rod and piston. sometimes its not easy to find shops that can or will build the motor the right way.
