oh yeah...my 10K included a trip from Las Vegas to AZ and back...6 hours there...4 hours back thanks to UMS for tuning!
And no turbo timer here either...turn it on and go...get there and stop...whatever...

I would like to do a compression test soon but the car is showing no signs of wear other then so matinace. I change my oil with mobil 1 every 5-6k. and my spark plugs about every 6 months with NGK BKR8EIX which are two steps colder.
i just recently retuned with bigger 550cc injectors and made 265whp and 293ft tq. on a dyno jet. cars running alot richer then before but its still ok probley foulded the plugs before the tune.

It can never be a bad thing to warm up & cool down any engine, let alone a turbocharged one.

the TuboToyotas GT kits have water cooled turbos...mine is the base, so it's a bushing turbo, only oil cooled.
Now, when I say turn it on a go and get there and stop...I meant the same way I did before boost...meaning I would start my motor, buckle up, check mirrors, turn on some tunes, and then go....and when I get there, I'm usually cruizing slowly through the parking lot before I stop, and then I'll grab a couple things before I shut off my engine...so it's basically the same as having a turbo timer set to 30 seconds or so...

Here's a 56 page thread on the subject:
What really happend to ZPI - **Update on Pg1**
As a fellow Scion owner, please take heed, I'd hate to see another one burned. Go with ANYONE else, here's a few to start you off.
Greddy - name brand but least value for the money, is reliable. You're paying for the name
Turbonetics - great turbo, a little pricey
Turbotoyotas - another great kit, but with potentially multi-month wait times
PTuning- not quite out yet, but will be high quality and excellent fit
Used ZPI- the kits themselves are solid, and dirt cheap. They will probably need upgrades so find a good shop.
He doesn't run (business), turbochargers.com, you do know that right? Turbochargers.com has been around since 1979, just FYI.
