From my understanding if i put in the fi/c and I leave all the settings on 0 the fi/c won't be modifying anything and it will just use my trd supercharger map that is on the ecu correct?

I just wanted to know if i have to put a base tune on there first or if i can install it first and worry about tuning afterwords.

bro just plg in the fic when you get to the tuner dont plug it it and then drive the car to the tuner doesnt make any sense. lol

well its a piggy back that "modifies" the stock signals so if you don't tell it to modify anything i would assume it would run as if fic wasn't there, guess i'm wrong. I am splicing it it so not as simple as plugging it in. Guess I will have to find a base tune then.

We installed a brand new F/IC on my friends turbo tc before we went to get it tuned, and it didnt affect how the car was driving at all

figured out the f/ic comes with a bypass harness that lets you wire up the harness without having to put in the f/ic. Problem solved, thanks for your input anyway guys.

i plugged my emanage without a map before and used it for like 3 weeks until i got my cable.. i say its just the same as running the ecu itself, i tried unplugging it too and it runs the same, dumping fuel though because its without a tune
