are you using copper gaskets? im suspecting they leak after awhile still looking for some evidence, but most of them are thin and may not resist a lot of continuous high temp

where did you find an oil pan gasket? I think this would make life easier than RTV

Nope I went with all stainless steel gaskets and for the exhaust manifold gasket I went with oem.

I got it from rockauto.com. Cost only $11. Rtv is to messy and I didn't want to have any problems by either putting too much or too little

I did a search on rockauto, it looks like the gasket kit comes with RTV in conjunction with the gasket to be used at the same time. It seems like you would have to still use a little RTV for a proper seal.

I kinda like the idea of using a gasket on the oil pan even if you need to smear a little rtv on it.

Yeah it's not necessarily rtv. It's a gasket sealer of some sort. It's says just to put a little on the gasket just to properly sit it on the oil pan but you don't have to smear it all over the pan like the rtv though. That's what I like.

Sooo.... Who you guys routin for??? Superbowl wise

glad it got to you so quick. Its different looking for sure. It is supposed to mount to the passenger side just behind the headlight. I never test fit it with those fittings. Hopefully it will. If it dont you could just go to home depot and buy a lil piece to make the catch can sit a lil lower. Will cost ya no more than like 3 bucks.

the breather side. You can make it work for the PCV which is a better thing to do but you will have to have Chris explain it. he explained it to me and it was basically a nod and smile for me. He just knows his stuff really well and I dont. LOL

Shouldn't installation to the pcv valve be the same method as the breather???

Also I'm confused on how to connect this thing. Which side is the vent side?

I dotn think you can just hook it up to the PCV. I think you have to eliminate the stock PCV by creating a different PCV or something like that. Chris will explain. It was a few months ago i really cant remember. But I am pretty sure it will work any way the hoses get hooked up if you hook it up to the spot on the valve cover and then to the intake.

all holes are tapped for 1/8th npt, so you can either get 1/8th npt brass fittings or get 1/8npt to -6 AN adapter and run ss braided lines. now -6 lines will work great if your connecting to the pcv but thats it, everything els is bigger than that.

you have two ways of making your connections, A) go from pcv to catch can-from catch can to intake manifold B) go from turbo intake pipe (if it has a nipple for it) to catch can-from catch can to driverside valve cover vent.

since the bracket is made for passenger side i would stick with option A, but thats up to you.

the catch can does not have a perticular inlet and outlet, its either one.
