I'm not sure yet. I had to run to work.

Can I get the CEL code by opening the AEM fic program?

I don't believe so.

Well, if this helps at all, after the cel came on, the idle got rough. drop down to ~600 rpm and pop up to 1000 rpm. When cruising, it seems fine though.

For what it's worth the most common cause of the a CEL after installing a turbo is because the primary cat integrated into the exhaust header was removed. As a result the variance in readings between the o2 sensors are reading rich.

At least that's what I've gathered from constant lurking. Without a scangauge or other OBD scanner, you can't assume this to be gospel ( you may even have more than one error code)

You can:
- dig into the forums for "anti-fouler" trick - all you're doing is partially hiding the seconday o2 sensor from the exhaust stream so that the readings appear normal
- live with it
- clear it until it returns. keep in mind that clearing the light obviously doesn't solve the problem.

Also as far as rough idling, did you let the ECU relearn for 15 minutes at idle after first start?

For the CEL, it's weird because all the prior idling and the test drive last night never produced a CEL. Only today did it come on for the first time and that's when the rough idle started.

The rough idle is new, I calibrated the aem fic and have the tune that the prior turbo kit owner has on there and that was working fine up to this point.

Maybe i'll just let it sit till monday and let UMS tuning figure it out and fix what's needed lol.

So, the lack of a cat CEL, can that take a few startups before it pops up?

10 psi at idle is fine. Don't worry about that issue. Focus on the idle problem but usually resetting the ECU works temporarily to get to the tuner.

That's actually the opposite of low. OEM specs call for 4.3psi. 7-10psi is fine though.

Ok good to knw on the oil pressure.

I'm pretty sure the CEL light is from a lack of a cat. I'm gonna do the anti-fouler trick when I get home.

So, when I'm doing the anti-fouler, I'll need to unplug the battery.

Will I need to re-calibrate the AEM fic?

The AEM FIC doesn't need to be recalibrated if you disconnect the battery.
