Well I tried to post on the DBW conversion subject last night...guess my post didn't go thru. Gotta love the aircard =X
We figured out everything would cost you approximatly $2000.00
The Breakdown being
TB - $300
Manifold- $1500
Throttle Cable - $150
It might be a little less if you can weld the manifold yourdelf ...
=X

wow. i mean WOW. 10's for a fwd tc is REALLY impressive.
is that on the stock 5 speed tranny too?
haha, not to toot my own horn, and most of you newer members probably wouldn't even remember, but.....
I was the first person to ever say on the forums how much of a PITA the DBW would be when it came to boosting. I knew because all the IS300 turbo guys HATED the [same] dbw as we have for their boosted car, and the smart ones swapped for a cable throttle. Much easier to control, better feedback, etc..
just thought i'd pass that along.
MAD props on the build though. what shop is that?

Since we were making the custom manifold & we knew we wanted to use a larger TB to begin with, we didnt try the other option.
There might be another more stock type throttle body you could use.
