That and higher fuel pressure will atomize your fuel better. This means less detonation and more efficient power.

I'm deciding between the walbro fuel pump and the supra fuel pump.

I've heard the walbro is way to noisy? can anyone describe the sound?

Also, where can I get the Supra Fuel pump and clip?

Get the Walbro 255. It isnt that noisy. It has a slight wine to it but you can barely hear it in the car. Just go Walbro.

If its just a little whine, then it shouldnt be too bad.

I usually have the music on full blast so I probably won't notice it then.

Cool thx for the info bluescion tc =D

Question again.

I just got my walbro 255lph fuel pump.

Anyone know what the dezod install kit consists of???

I believe it might be the supra clip. If so where can I get one?

They won't sell me the install kit alone, which sucks.

Just hard wire it or modify the clip (thats what I did) cut the wires and pull the old ones off of the stock pump and wire it up.

Hmm... Sounds easy enough.

Any other recommendations??

Do I need to solder any of it? or just wire tap it?

Will I need any sealant? or plumbers tape? for the job.

Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it

I would def solder everything in there. The fuel pump is your life line. Teflon tape is not needed, sealant is also not needed. The port to get to the fuel pump has some really stick crap on there from Toyota and will reseal it self. Pretty much all I can say is take your time and make it very very nice no loose ends.

I also recommend the use of heat shrink,Def use that on all soldered connections.

Cool.

All i'm missing then is some heatshrink. I'll pick some up today then.

I'll take some pics of the install. I'll probably get around to it this weekend.

Thanks again.

WOW.

Did you just put a screw and jb weld in that oil hole? once you removed the harmonic balancer (I think thats what its called).

Also, aren't you afraid the screw and jbweld will come out with all the engine vibration??

Do you think I can do it, by just have the front end of the car jacked up???

Yea we did it to my friends tC last week. It takes 24 hours for the JB weld to cure so the oil pan has to be off for 24 hours. The screw and JB weld won't come out at all. There are actually a couple threads on this forum about removing the balance shafts.
