Default fuel solonoid got stuck open

my fuel solonoid got stuck open and fuel poured into my intake when i was starting my car...it all dripped out from the filter, but now my car doesnt start...i fixed the solenoid but it still wont start....anyway to fix this or should i take out the intake, dry it out, wash the filter etc..? there was some brown liquid (assuming oil) near the driver tire area, but i couldnt find wher it came from, and when i try to start the car, there is a bad smell...any ideas?

what mods do you have? why did this happen? just take it to a mechanic if you dont know what you're doing.. it involves fuel, got to be careful your car could burst in flames

its from the nitrous and i allready fixed the fuel solenoid...i know what the problem was, it was the fuel spitting into the intake while starting the car...if u read my question, it was asking if i just let it dry or do i have to do something else...i know what im doing and the only other mod i have is the intake.

Fuell will evaporate rather quickly - id recommend disssasembling the intake, cleaning the maf sensor with electronics cleaner (you stated fuel made it all the way to the filter so im assuming it go on the maf sensor), clean out all the intake piping - while youre doing this use a screwdriver to "prop" open the throttle body to allow any fuel in the intake mani to evaporate - id leave it propped open for 30-45 min. Than reassemble the intake, reset the ecu by d/c the battery for 20 min, than reconnect the battery and try to start the car

remove the spark plugs and crank the motor over a couple of times. check the plugs to see if theyre fouled. clean maf, dry intake and filter, reassemble, and try to start it. you might need to give it some gas to get it started.

Oil leak? You never said anything about an oil leak. Oil would burn bluish.

Simple, fuel solenoids have mechanical parts, like everything mechanical they are prone to failure. There should have been another precaution with the solenoid but i'm sure you're using a Zex, CHEAP, which would speak for itself. You need to be careful, I recommend using Ny-trex or NX fuel and nitrous solenoids to get rid of those Zex components.
