Exactly! Don't blame the company that supplies the kits, blame the tuners that take your car out to so call "tune" it.

Every turbo kit has the potential to blow up a motor, the tuner has the responsibility to make that not happen.

I have been boosted with a DEZOD kit for over a year now and have hammered to crap out of it and knock on wood I have never had a problem with it. I have an awesome tuner that actually knows what he is doing..

Sorry to hear about your loss. I would be taking it back to the tuner and having him pay for that crap!! He is the one responsible for his actions and if he doesn't know how to tune then get the frick out of the business and quit blowing peoples cars up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, if he installed and tuned the kit he is liable. ofcourse he doesn't want to fix it. thats what a lawyer is for. even if he has no warrenty his insurance would cover it. i would deff fight this untill i was blue in the face over a new shortblock. and make them pay ANOTHER shop to install the new engine, kit and re-tune

All these blown motors lately are not the fault of the turbo kits, (IMHO) these kits (dezod, greddy, TT and even turbonetics) all seem to be proven kits if Installed properly. The problems is the installers and tuners thats what will blow crap up. I think alot of people take there car to get tuned right away and dont know how to tell or are to rushed to tell if there is anything wrong with the install. Most tuners have you sign a waiver that if it blows up on the dyno that they are not responsible. finding a good tuner is not easy i belive alot of them dont give a good look over to the cars brought in to be tuned.
