funny noise with supercharger

Default funny noise with supercharger

i just installed a SC and had it for 800 mile and now i hear a clicking noise on the right side. It only comes on when the fan is blowing and i accerarate. help!

the right side from which orientation?

if you mean on the passengerside of the car, then i could guess it is the belt slipping maybe?

and if it is only 800 miles, it is still under warranty unless you did a no no and modified it with something like a pulley or whatever.

i dont think its the belt
the noise sounds like metal hitting to together but only for a few sec.

Look at your belt. If you are under warranty (which you should be, either under the car's or part warranty if instlled by toyota) go to the dealership and have them inspect it

i dont think its the belt cause i just install it with a gate belt and it works fine

Is it kinda like a few second chain draging on the ground? ....then it stops? ....if so ... i wouldn't think much of it. The s/c gearing is noisy and unless you hear LOUD noises ....don't worry.

yeah its that sound like its rubbing against something
is there some way i can fix this problem
