well i have nothing to worry about since my car won't run lean.. since my emanage isn't even hooked up because i have to get it tuned, and i'm running the car right now with the bigger injectors and i'm running rich.. waste of gas.. but no detonation? that's somewhat good right?

you're playing a very risky game.

it's better to run rich than lean...but both are bad in their own essence. And regardless of the tune, something internally can happen and you won't know and u could end up running lean, have a boost spike, or vaccum leak and that's no good

it's ok to run off of someone else's tune, but just remember that even though you are/maybe running the same setup as the other person is, its possible that you won't see the same results. Every engine has it's own different characteristics. just be careful and good luck =)

oh well the shop installed the emanage and they said it wouldn't let the car go past 2500 or something like that, like it was worst to use the emanage than to run without it..

^^now i'm worried for you regarding that shop. It's not worse to have engine management when you have something on your car that is not stock...it's better because ur ecu doesn't know how to handle it. also...it will let the car go past 2500...it won't stop it from revving past any rpm...it doesn't have that capability. Please be careful now what shop u go to because those type of things sound like something a dealer would say

oh well they installed the kit.. and it seems okay i don't shift over 3000, but when i do shift it kinda bogs.. and i left off the gas when i feel the turbo spooling up.. hopefully with next weeks paycheck i can get a tune..

sounds like you're trying to do things as you get money. I would have waited until I had enough to do it all in one sitting as to not possibly cause damage. But that's just me. Sounds like they don't know e-manage that well if they are having problems like that. regardless I wish ya luck [again].

well i assumed that the preset tune would've been fine to drive around for awhile, but the preset was somehow messed up.. and then i was charged a little extra for the install because of missing parts.. and so on.. so things just added on randomly..

yeah, I definately know what you mean about the additional cost for missing parts. My Injen CAI came with only the small band clamps. I had to purchase what the shop had available so I have some nice T-clamps on my CAI

yeah well i have enough for the tune i just have to put off on the wideband since it was my wideband money.. oh well my boost gauge will just have to keep my car alive for awhile.. so i guess when people said going turbo puts a hole in your pocket you best believe them!
