correct...ther is a pdf file on your computer that was downloaded along with the fic software......but finding it on some computers can be a pita....or maybe i just have a fubar computer

as far as wire color on the uego i thought i read it was white......i wonder if older uego's used a different color.....i mean it is possible.

so far what i have gathered....

the wire coming FROM FIC is a brown wire (18th pin) labeled Aux In on the 22 pin connector(thats if you are using the harness that came in the box with the fic)
if you are using a pnp harness that wire will prolly be missing, in this case all you need to do is get the universal harness and compare it to the pnp harness. find the aux in wire and see if you can pull it out of the universal connector and put it in you pnp harness.

FROM THE UEGO....your looking for the white wire....not hard to find...lol

so you take the Aux In wire comeing from the Fic and connect it with the white wire coming from the UEGO

next you will need to set up the fic to read your uego properly.

open up the fic program, look up to the tool bar and click on setup, scroll down to Aux Gauge and click it. This is wher you will need to set up max afr and low afr...stuff like that.

ill try and get it done today.

Sounds right, I was typing this off the top of my head so it was either the blue or the white lol. I have yet to hook everything up in my car. I haven't driven it it months....

ok i got some pics but im not really prepaired to do a full write up or anything, iv been pretty busy.
btw please dont give me too much crap about how i have my resisters...just havnt gotten around to doing it right.

so here is the universal harness (22pin connector)

heres the aux in wire that you need

another shot of the wire

for thos of us that are using the pnp harness this is the location that the aux in wire is supposed to be

so if your 22 pin connector doesnt have that wire then you need to get the universal connector and pull out that wire

now you can insert it into your connector on your pnp harness

now all you do is connect the aux in wire to your white wire coming from the uego....for thos that are using other than aem gauges you will need to look for a 0-5volt output.

like i said you will prolly need to pull a wire from your universal harness (preferably the wire labled as Aux In) and insert it into you pnp harness...then take that wire you just inserted into your pnp harness and connect it with the white wire coming from you UEGO

just to clear it up. using the last picture as reference. i would have to run the white wire into the port in which your brown AUX wire is.

j/w did this acctually work. you got a AFR reading?

has anyone done it yet? If not i am going to try my best to do it this weekend....I have one major problem and its that i dont have a laptop handy so if no one in the greenspoint area or Houston for that matter wouldnt mind coming by my house for a few mins who has a laptop then ill have to wait till sunday so i can borrow my cousin's. So far iv been able to get away with not having one but its getting to be more and more pressing that i get one. Im also going to look into setting up the fic to datalog if i have time. Iv been extremly lucky that iv been able to get as far as i have without all this stuff but now its a must.

i was wrong about the setting though (100ms) i think what i did was set my tps too high and when i let off the throttle it ended the logging session....oops

ill prolly be cleaning up the wiring tomorrow and do so-more logging......i got wires effing everywhere...lol

i got a problem, at first i thought i was logging the uego cause i only got 2 seconds of data and the uego said 10 which i know that under full throttle and 1-2psi of low boost is normal for my fuel map.....but i have gotten a couple of logs and i know that they all couldnt be reading 10afr, so iv come to the conclusion that either i have a lose connection, mixed up the wires from my gauges (all aem gauges have a white wire coming from them, that iv noticed...lol), or the directions i got from aem are a little off. I say off cause on the wire you ground to datalog aem tells you that its labeled one thing but ends up being another.

Ill try the blue wire just to see as well as all the other white wires.

i could have possibly not set it up correctly, but then again i went by the manual
