Way to reply to your own thread, no one has heard of this turbo kit, stick with something that works...

Dezod
TurboToyotas
Treadstone
Greddy
Turbonetics

Exactly.

The reason that Turbonetics is offering a warranty is because they have lose so much business due to Dezod/TurboToyatas offering a way better kit for cheaper, they had to offer something to get them back in the game.

Do ALOT more research before you go and start buying. From what I can tell you have a completely wrong approach to turbo tuning. "Turbo" and "Cheap", or "Low cost" should NEVER be in the same sentence unless you have "Are Not" in between the 2.

Never shop around for a cheap turbo. NEVER. Expect to spend about $6000 on everything. And turbos dont need warrentys. They last a long time if you're doing everything correctly and not beating the hell out of your engine.

It takes a very longtime to wear out a turbo if you treat it the right way. Now most of the people that turbo there cars dont treat them right so they en up ruining there turbos. Turbos are actualy more reliable than the oh so mighty supercharger.

unless your runnin an open downpipe, you should get a good amount of life out of the turbo. and plus its all in your tuning.

and the one thing to look for when thinkin about purchasing an unknown turbo kit. .

ensure its a garret (preffered) or turbonetics tubo
use tial or turbonetics wastegate
use well known brand bov
the material used for the manifold and chargepiping.
if its a log manifold, whats the flow trating and does it look cheap like it would crack. and how many cars is it being run?

me personally, id go with turbotoyotas or dezod (even thought their a little on the high end)

i'm not claiming that i know alot about turbos coz i don't

but i've been reading about them in the past 2-3years, and then i decided to go with a tC as I think it is an excellent platform

I would go with either dezod or turbonetics kit, but i'm expecting to pay 5-6k

the next hint is get it tuned right, and don't beat your engine to the death. That should give you a reliable tc'd tC
