The Treadstone kit isn't bad.. You can make decent HP with almost any kit.. the trick is in the tuning.
Don't believe what Treadstone says about not being able to use a piggy back to tune your car because their kit is pretuned. I would definitely get an eManage or an F/IC with that kit.

yeah...but doesn't it still say that you CAN'T use the emanage with the treadstone kit? I've heard quite a few guys have issues tuning the treadstone with the emangage...but you can always get the aem f/ic instead.
that and the fact that you have to hack up your bumper for the ic pipes, the clearance with their manifold are hit and miss, and their customer service is TERRIBLE...I would go for a different kit.
Oh, and when we say do research...we don't mean look at their website...we mean search for posts from people who actually have the kit.

yeah treadstone kit can make as much power as other kits, but as mentioned tuning is a key factor.. i just dont like how the IC pipes are routed, and i've heard of bad customer service, im not sure bout quality of materials but I would just consider another kit with more satisfied customers. But this will work if all you want is some power for the price

Cutting up the bumper support isn't bad.. to each their own on this one. I personally wouldn't mind cutting mine up for a larger IC.
As for the eManage - the simple thing to do is to get a different MAF housing and then connect the eManage ... or F/IC.
And as Ace stated, I too heard that their customer service blows... but if you know what you're doing you shouldn't need their help much if any.

^^ its the intercooler pipe that can be seen in the side vents, it just bothers me.. but thats only me lol
other alternative you have is look for used kits, there are used and nicely speced for a lower price than new.. some arent even installed about same price as a new treadstone

yeah...cutting for a larger IC is one thing...cutting just cause that's how the pipes are is another. aen actually got his pipes off ebay (I think) so he had to cut his bumper, but he actually did a good job...I've seen some bad ones.
I think aen has fitment/leak issues as well, right?

it's a bit taller, so you cut the crashbar...I dont' have a problem with that, but it's not much wider...but you have to cut the faux side vents because of how their pipes are routed.
