Ripp Mods in Staten Island. I did my car there, as well as Gizmo (Another greddy tC), Karl (Icenine - 311WHP S/C), and a ton of others. They know tC's well. Perry is the man.

You could also possibly try Wired Electronics in Linden, MRC motorsports in Spotswood, or Precision Tuning..

yea but i figure its better to go to a place that has done tcs before rather than a place like turbotrix which is closer but I dont think has done any turbod tcs...

hopefully skylines and tcs are apples and oranges as far as tunes go...

Its a hard thing to say who to go to - RIPP is an option and turbotrix is surely an evo tuner place (walk in there and you will find that out in 2 seconds). It sucks there aren't any other good tuners in this area .....there are surely a lot of people who need to get tuned.

yea, besides the fact that all the evo kids would look down on me for my tc I'm not sure if any tcs have been tuned there or not. It shouldn't be too big of a deal but I want a safe tune done right. I'm not really too worried about price because I'd rather pay a dollar extra now then thousands down the road.

I wouldnt give 2 Poops what some evo kid thinks .....but having a tuner who has worked with the tc dozens of times surely does help matters

yea thats the thing. I dont want someone who hasnt worked on the tc before. but I have a feeling that they would not put the same effort into my tc as one of their mistus.. and I have a feeling if I tell them I want a safe conservative tune they wouldnt listen because they think the power I want would not be good so they would tune it how they want..

i dunno. Im probably gonna go to ripp but I'm wondering what everyone else has done and I have to head to class right now so peace

GuitarGuru - hit up Ripp. They know tC's like the back of their hands now. They've tuned so many of them from the region that it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

krd I think thats what Im going to do. I just have to get a couple more parts for my kit and then Ill schedule an appointment.. The drive over is gonna suck but low in the rpms shouldnt be too big of a problem. It's gonna be tempting as hell with twice the horses under the hood and not being able to let them run...
