Default Greddy 20g turbo on a Scion Tc

Anyone know if the GReddy 20g turbo will fit the Tc and hold atleast 400+ whp? Right now I am running the greddy 18g....I just want to stick with GReddy...any answer would help...

I run a 20g, no problems. its still alittle small tho, im runnin 12psi and only hitting about 270whp.

if you run enough boost, and don't explode...yeah, sure. but does greddy make anything bigger than that?

u can be gettin more horsepower on 12 psi my boy has a 16g on 10psi and he is making 312whp as his daily. it is a zpi kit though

but why are you hell bent on sticking with greddy? because you have a greddy kit? you could swap in some other internally gated turbo that will bolt up to the manifold and downpipe.

it looks like you're making 250 whp, how much boost? i'm gonna guess about 8 psi? i'm running 14 psi and making 308. you could probably easily make that with your kit just by increasing boost and retuning.

but then again...400 whp would need a built engine...

a friend was making like 306whp @10psi with 550cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump.

I was looking to a built motor and might just get a 20g or 25g greddy turbo upgrade and fueling...looking for 400+whp daily driving.

400 whp built motor daily driven tC. that is going to be expensive, excessively gas consuming, and nearly pointless. i'm 308 whp and i already have loads of wheel spin in 1st-3rd and still get 22 mpg.

You gotta love spinning 3rd gear with lsd

I tunned a ptuning kit at 12 psi spinning 3rd.. im trying to convice him to goto 14 psi with fuel system!

Anybody know a good way to hold boost all the way to redline I keep having the problem thru mid rpm then boost start dropping

lol or you turbo is short of breath.. go gt30 and you will have an opposite problem keeping boost down above 5k rpm

You think 3 inch exhaust will solve the back pressure and hold boost better to redline...

yeah, i remember the first time i did it. on the way home from p-tuning after being tuned, going through the beltway interchange, after merging on the onramp, i was clear to floor it and once boost hit and started spinning the tires, i was like "holy smokes, really? jeez!" granted this is with all season tires. maybe some summer rubber will plant the power better. kinda frustrating that i have to hold back so much so the car will actually go somewhere!
