Read this:

It should help you make your decision. if you don't already know, Dezod is probably the most respected and longest tenured turbo company on SL.

user friendly would be the E-manage blue

most cost effective and better piggyback all around would be the F/IC...

this may help

AEM F/IC no doubt if you can have somebody tune it right, if not emanage blue will better since most tuners can tune the blue..

even though i rock the emanage...i would say go the AEM F/IC after the good things i have heard...it works better with our stock ECU since it's a piggyback...your stock ECU may learn and correct what the Emanage is doing...not so with the AEM

both the f/ic and the e-manage are piggybacks... the difference is that the AEM F/IC intercepts the signal after the PCM where the e-manage interecepts before... at least I believe thats right.... (looking for article)

I believe that is correct, and that is why the emanage can get overridden by the stock ECU.

yes because the ecu adapts to the new values the e-manage is producing and thus at part-throttle boost you are now back at stoich (14.7)... bad!

I have read up tons on the AEM F/IC (I will be running it once I boost and tune it myself) and it seems like it will be pretty easy to tune... just take it one step at a time... it may be time consuming, but in the end a great result, CEL free, and the part-throttle boost is tuned... yay! The only other engine management I would get besides the aem f/ic would be AEM's EMS standalone unit... but for the price, f/ic all the way (at least until I reach the limits of the f/ic :D )

I would say AEM, and refer you to my writeup on AEM's site about the heads up comparison.

Yes, we produced an AEM EMS, which is a full standalone to run on the Scion tC.

What is the max boost the on-board MAP sensor of the FIC can handle? I believe I read 25psi but I just want to make sure I am correct. Also, will the Dezod 850cc PNP injectors work with the FIC?

go for the FIC. but then again ask your tuner if he can tune the FIC? i had the emanage blue and the stock ecu was always trying to fight the emanage blue. if you dont have the fuel trims near perfect get ready to reset your comp alot lol
