Default Greddy or Dezod for auto tC?

Im new here and my auto tC is supercharger. The supercharger is giving me some problems and Im thinking of going turbo. I would like to know wich turbo kit is better for the auto tC, Greddy or Dezod? And if anyone can tell me how much Hp has a stage1 kit produced for the auto tC. Thanks in advance

doesn't really matter, a turbo kit is a turbo kit. doesn't have anything to do with the engine.

what problems are you having with your supercharger, why isn't it covered by your warranty?

the supercharger is vibrating a lot and when I press the gas it makes a strange sound. When I start it up in the morning it makes a screeching sound. I really dunno what it is

the only problem with the auto is that the tranny starts to slip around 240hp.

Most of our auto kits range from 200-225whp on 5 PSI. This depends on tuning and supporting mods.

Is there something that can be done to prevent the tranny form slipping at 240 hp?

You can try. Run a tranny cooler (that comes with our kit), run a really good full synthetic tranny fluid and/or build the tranny.

uhm...they aren't that fantastic, the auto tC sucks, both stock and turbo'ed for drag racing. you won't be making any records. i think the best time i remember seeing posted on here for an auto tc turbo was like 13's...high 13's...but don't get distracted by that, they are probably lots of fun for spirited driving.

Well for me 13's high are pretty good. Thanks for the info. Another question, I have the supercharger TRD reflash. Does this affects the car when I make it turbo?

A lil less professional tuning when it comes time to do so.

So should I get a comp without the reflash?

browndogg has his auto turbo'd and he ran like 9.2 in 1/8th. i know there is a greddy auto turbo on here and he was running mid 13's. as for Drax...keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything good things to say like that last comment because he is asking for good advice and your one of those people who try to put others down. sure the tranny isn't good for holding alot of power but it can sure hold good enough on the track to own other tc's with the same kit that are manual. the best thing about putting a turbo in a auto is that it stays in boost the the whole time...on the track that is.

i'm not saying anything bad, i'm being honest. drag race times just aren't that great for the tC period, they get even worse for the auto. that stuff about how auto's stay in boost between shifts is true, but and auto verse a manual tc with the same turbo kit, (drivers being equal) the manual will easily beat the auto. the auto can't hold that much power, its ratios aren't that great, and it isn't made for drag racing.

i'm not being negative, i'm being honest, and everybody gets all upset and says i'm putting people down, but i'm just too lazy to decorate my posts with happy little emoticons to convey my tone. it is just text, and it i try to withhold my bias.

but another thing, why do people get so hung up on 1/4 mile times? to me, unless all your going to do is drag race, it is a pointless statistic because it doesn't really how much fun a car is to drive on the road. the stock tc has slow 1/4 mile time, but it is fun to drive everyday, and with upgraded suspension, it is a blast, but it's 1/4 mile times won't be any better now will it? will a turbo kit make a stick or auto tc more fun to drive? yes it will, but will it lay down impressive 1./4 mile times? not really.

so my point is, don't get hung up on 1/4 mile times, just do it and enjoy. i have more fun autocrossing my tc then i ever would drag racing it.

yes the tc is better for autocrossing but it does run well in 1/8 times and in 1/4 everyone knows fwd suffers alot because it's not meant for it yet it can hang with other cars if it is tuned propertly. as for racing both transmissions with equal everything the auto will beat it but at top speeds it does give out alot sooner. just be ready to have oil leaks and blown gaskets every now and then.

Dezod... At lower powers you don't need the fancy manifold and Dezod's customer service hugely outdoes GReddy's customer service. Dezod would be much more willing to work with you.
