GReddy e-Manage Ultimate or AEM F/IC ?
OK in a few weeks I plan to start saving up money to finish my turbo set up. I will be buying parts as I go a long and hopefully finish soon. I have came to a hard decision though. I have a GReddy ProFec B-spec II boost controller I also have the GReddy support tool and Turbo timer.
Would it make sense to go with the ultimate than over the AEM F/IC I was originally planning on going with ? would my boost controller work better with a GReddy computer or AEM ? I am still learning about this so sorry for the noob question.
Thanks.

Just take out your O2 sensors and you can partial throttle boost everywhere and I have the Ultimate.

Like I said on the Ultimate you can take out your O2 sensors and have full capability over the map. I'm getting 31mpg now.

Do you just take the O2 sensor out of the down pipe, or do you remove the sensor completely?
I've read some mixed opinions regarding that route but am very interest (as I run Ultimate).

I don't care bout the CEL as long as it won't harm my motor. I wanna run two boost settings an 8 psi and a 12 psi tune on stock motor.
Which one will the car run better with? AEM or GReddy ? I know the Ultimate is closer to a full standalone but I also hear a lot of good things about the AEM F/IC.

scikotic I will be using the e-Manage Ultimate with my built motor. That is until I get enough money for a Hydra but there is nothing wrong with running a built engine on Ultimate.
I have no O2 sensors and a blow thru MAF setup and love it. My roommate with a standalone always says i have a good setup for the price i paid (around 600 bucks)

Dunno, I've seen people throw it and then solve the problem with an anti-fouler.
The only code I've thrown has been P0500, which is for a VSS, and that's from my In-dash nav unit, it has nothing to do with the turbo.
I like my F/IC, it does what I needed it to do.
