Greddy Turbo
#5
a friend has the greddy turbo kit with 550cc injectors and greddy blue at 10psi and is like at 300hp. but you can get a dezod or toyotaturbo's kit for the same price and get 300hp under 10psi. also are you manual or auto?

dude even if you get 24 mpg you still have to put premium gas in there and that is expensive. Also what are you gonna use all that boost for if you are daily driver? wow get to work 5 min faster haha. If he does autocross or professional racing then I would support his decision to get turbo

thats a big misconception, if anything it gets you better gas mileage when your tuned assuming you drive out of boost. if you drive in vac its no different than driving NA.
you go down in mileage when you cant stay out of boost.
you go down in mileage when you cant stay out of boost.

I would get a Dezod kit, it is a nice kit with a external wastegate, and has a t3 turbo that you could upgrade down the line. The Greddy kit has a 18g and internal wastegate with limits you to what turbo you can get.

If you are looking for a great daily driver kit go for the greddy. i have 41,000 miles on my kit still runs great no smoke or any turbo issues what so ever. my biggest recomendation with any turbo kit would be motor mounts and a clutch. 300whp should not be a problem. if u are going for more power on this kit u will need 550cc injectors.
