If you read the catch can article in 2uner it helps you add a little bit of horsepower, like 2. That really doesnt matter, what matters is keeping those valves and intake free of sludge. You can see the sludge in the valve exhaust pipe, my car only has 2k miles on it but i can see a little build up.
I'm not sure either, am interested though? Wouldn't the catch can help keep 'sludge' out of the intake?

If PTuning is confident in the base map for safety it should be alright. Thy've dealt with a lot of tC's and are actually trained by Greddy to do tuning as an authorized dealer, installer and tuner.

The catch can is a good buy for forced induction. The supercharger on my xB liked to suck oil into the throttle body. I'll be running a "unique" setup on the xB after I drop the new motor in and hopefully PTuning can tune it on eManage blue. I'll swap to Ultimate only if I have to, and will be running off of the wastegate only on the turbo without a manual or other boost controller.

With the supercharger, they were able to tune it with just the 1 hr charge. it took like 4 hours but a lot of that was probably taking it off the dyno between pulls, letting it cool, etc, so actual labor was 1 hr.
