Default Greddy Turbo kit for the tc.

Well I emailed greddy and they said the kit is definitly in the works and that they are hoping to stock sometime in the summer (not sure how good greddy is with deadlines) So i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the kit might be like? most of their kits are carb approved and seem to be very basic. Wonder if its going to be similar to the zpi stage 0 kit.

hmmmm.........i wonder the power to the cost is. many new kits are coming out for the tC because they are still new....im not suprised, it just means more options for us, and more compition for other companies which is always good......

the one thing you can count on Greddy for is chances are it will be CARB legal, dont expect to much on the power end though. I wonder what mitsu turbo they are useing...Uhh ohh...could this be the creation of another 16G kit??

They favor the 18G a little more in their kits from what I've seen.

Don't count on CARB cert right away from Greddy. Their 350Z kit is still not fully cleared with a CARB cert despite being out for 3 years now.

yeah the carb wont be approved right away, and iam also pretty positiive about the 18g thats what their turbo kit had at a show i think sema?

Their kits are pertty basic as in some dont have managment intercoolers and blow off valves. Id be ok with a kit like that I like upgrading slowly. Its either this or the zpi kit.

As said before, 18G.

They used an 18G in their prototype kit and made about 210whp at 5.7psi from what I remember

greddy turbo kit...

never expect it to be cheap...

actually, NEVER expect ANYTHING from greddy to be cheap. because its CARB'ed is another reason why the jack up teh price. maybe below the turbonetics but definitely more than teh zpi stage 1. so probly 4200 or something

extortion i tell you...

and your right... getting things carbed takes FOREVER.

TRD SC, TRD INTAKE (not carb), all aftermarket intakes (not carbed), etc etc

haha

The kit will be carb legal. I e mailed them and asked about it. They said they would not even release a kit for the tC if it didn't have acceptable performance gains and it was CARB legal.

as stated b4 it will have the 18g mitsu turbo.

It probably won't come with a FMIC etc. but they will have an upgrade kit that will stipulate "For off road" wich will make the kit not legal. but more power.
