you can get a smaller turbo for that goal and have less lag.. but its for show, bragging rights or dont care about lag go for it... but this would be nice to if you can raise your reving since you're building the motor

As far as I know....and anyone correct me if I am wrong...I am the only company that offers a GT35R kit (Stage 3 GT) or a GT35R as an option for a kit.

Plus I can build you something custom if you don't want I currently offer. But that kit is pretty complete...big garret ic core, fuel pump etc.

Now if your goals are 450-500, you dont have to use a 35R, there are other options that will provide a better power band down low and still get you the top end you want.

Regards-

Todd

Actually I offer one too. It was a one off though so only one of it's kind other than the one on my girl's car. I use the GT3582R with the optional stainless steel exhaust housing (vband) and also as an option is the ported compressor cover which is said to add about 10% flow up top. Easily makes 600 WHP+ with great spool up. Makes about 360 WHP on stock motor on straight 93 octane @10 PSI.

Oh and it sounds wicked when it spools. Obviously something to do with the compressor cover.

lol not you todd, you've got work to do and you're slacking in scionlife haha..

GT3076r will do the job for you and will save you some money, you might want to look in to that too. GT35 will give you more room for upgrades but a build with goals above 500 will be a lot expensive

The Tial housings look bad @#$, but they cost allot of $$$. Same for a v-band style collector, but if someone wants it someone will build it. Nice work there Guru

Just out of curiosity is your head flange stainless?

Mine isn't. It was a one off when I made it but the other ones I make are all stainless. You are right Todd. This kit was not for the cheap skates. It is top of the line everything and cut no corners kind of kit. It is priced appropriately.

If there was only a way for us to get the customers to understand how much work all this actually takes....they would then understand they are actually getting a good deal

Keep it up

Todd

Very true Todd. Most Scion guys (no offense to anyone) are VERY cost conscious folks. They are not big spenders like EVO or STi guys. Those guys for the most part want the BEST not the cheapest. Part of dealing with a $16K car as opposed to a $38K car. This kit was custom made for one of those guys that wanted something truly special, truly one of a kind (well two of a kind, he) and is wanting to make serious power with a nicely built motor. Obviously it is pointless to spend the extra cash on a kit if you are going to run stock motor.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance, before you go spending big $$$$$.

AZNTCT-

do you have to use a GT35R? or just a turbo that will support your goals?
