Default Guage Pods for Scion tC?

Need pic's on how you guys are mounting your gauges.

What pods are you using and where to buy them? Also how easy are they to install?

There a few outthere. And like draxcaliber said, if you have side curtain airbags, you cant utilze the a pillar pods.
But with the ATI shown above, you will have to drill into you dash, making going back to stock, impossible or expensive.

I run the apillar with autometer gauges, but am working on something custom at the moment.

I have side curtain airbags and run a pillar pod. Mine's pretty crappy looking (and fitting), though. I have the GlowShiftDirect 3-gauge pillar pod. The side curtain airbag a-pillar is actually a bit longer than the stock a-pillar, so there's a little gap at the top of mine.

I'm gonna switch to the Creative Compacts one, however.

I do have an ATI EPod if you want...

I had the carbon trix dual gauge pod setup. It was very expensive at around $225 but it was for the set...both driver and passenger pillars...it was a 2 gauge pod setup.

Here's mine:

And technically, you dont' have to drill any holes at all if your worried about going back to stock. It comes with sticky tape on the bottom and there is a hole in teh back where you can snake the cables through and then run them allong your windshield line. But I think that's fugly.
I dont' even have the bottom panel on mine cause it sit's more flush that way, and I dont' EVER plan on going back to stock. Why would you?

I MIGHT try to run with the ATI Epod and pull the wires through the windshield side. Not sure yet.

Nick06tC - It will go flying towards the windshield. If you look at where the airbag is, it only extends about 2 inches down into the a-pillar. When that side blows, the pillar pod SHOULD (yeah should - i'm not certain and i'm not gonna set off my airbags) hinge down by the dash and rotate towards the windshield so it won't go anywhere near my face.

Since I have the airbags I didnt wanna go with a pillar, and the only other one that I seen was the triple above the center (shown above) so I went with a custom setup on the passenger side, Ill post pics tom while I am at work.

Well I have side airbags and run a pillar pod. If you remove the pillar cover you'll notice that the airbag is up closer to your head while driving. Not under the pillar cover. I woulnt worry about it hitting you in the face.

I'd like to see those pics, slvr.

I wanted the one from garage as well, but its an in shop job, not just a piece he sends out.
I got my stereo cause I thought gauges would fit under it in the second din. They don't.
Or you could go like rhythmnsmoke with the cups and put them wherever.

I wonder if any of these gauge pods could be made to angle towards the driver? I had one custom built for my Spec V. It just made sense if you were actually using the gauges.

Nice. They just slide in, so I'm sure you could rig something up with a wedge of some sort.
I can see mine just fine, but my Oil Pressure if furthest away, and I can't see the dot in the lower left corner. It's cause the rim on the gauges stick out to far, probably to helf fight glare. But the AEM gauges are digital with big numbers in the middle, so I can see those perfectly.
