Oh, and here are some closeups of my ATI center pod after I shaved some of the plastic off:

and here is the hole in the dash to pass the wires through, cause I didn't want them sticking out the back:

That's the real thing that's stopping me from using the EPod - I don't want to have to cut into my dash like that.

Yeah, guam is going to be warm.
I have 2 sets of dash pieces so, if I dont like it. its an easy 5 minute switch back.

Sicklecell, yup thats what happened to it
I bought extra of everything so that if I dont like it, or I mess it up. I really am not out to much money.

what a-pillar gauge pod has the same or close to the same color as the stock a-pillars? The ones I have seen are black and I think it would look odd with one black and the other not...

search around... I got mine from promotion tuning, except it took 3 months to get to me because they are drop shippers and didn't know it was backordered. I don't really want to deal with them again and I am sure others had good experiences with them. It's just enough is enough that 2 items that I bought 2 seperate times were backordered and it took me calling them after a couple of weeks to find that out. When I did call them, they responded in a frustrated way saying that "we will email you when it gets shipped out". Imagine my frustration after waiting for months.

yeah that was the only place I have found so far and I was just seeing if there were other alternatives... the only thing I don't like about it is that you have to screw it into the a-pillar...

If that bothers you, maybe I shouldn't tell you about the hole you have to cut in the pillar to run the wires for the gauges.

creativecompacts.com IS promotiontuneing.com, which is why you can only get it there. Don't know why they would drop ship, though, unless they have another shop fabbing it up for them.

I've ordered from them 3 times and my buddy ordered once more recently, and they only lagged the first time I ordered (initiall short shifter shipment).
Sorry to hear of your problems.

I didn't mean the fact that I had to screw it in to the a pillar, the fact that the screws show is what I dont like... wish they came with some caps or something.... or do they??? and yes I know there has to be a whole made in the pillar
